We’ve got our Wiress!!!

The wonderful Amanda Plummer will be playing Wiress from District 3!

If you’re not familiar with Amanda Plummer, she’s been in a ton of movies but I am STOKED on this choice since she has stuck out in my mind for years since I saw her on Law & Order: SVU (Season 6, episode 9 titled “Weak” [it’s on Netflix instant- check it out!) I’m so excited I can’t even handle it. I think she’s perfect.

I don’t know that Wiress gets too much love as a character but I absolutely love her. I’ve probably already brought this up at some point but I think the final scene between her & Peeta in the Quarter Quell arena is so powerful & sweet & poignant. It kills me every time. I may or may not have cried one time when I was trying to explain it to someone…

But anyways! I’m STOKED! What do you think?
